The dairy market has substantial experience working with spiral wound membranes. This technology has key advantages over other separation solutions and offers distinctive value in applications where a high degree of selectivity is required, one of which is precision fermentation. In this 20-minute session, we will define precision fermentation and how it differs from other types of fermentation processes. We will then explore how it has evolved and how membrane separation is used within this application to disrupt the food ingredient market, from plant-based proteins to beverages and biotechnology.
